Times with friends - finishing out the last week of March!
We had a lovely surprise visit from our friend David D. and his daughter Phiala who had come into town. It was a beautiful evening and we took a walk down to our little community garden at the end of the lake. I love the photo of Indigo walking Egan - she looks like Pippi Longstocking! The kids took some fairly decent photos together - of course Indigo was enamoured by big girl Phiala - she'll be nine in September. At one point they all turned to look at the geese. Of course Isaac loved David D. and we got this super funny video of David D. tickling Isaac with a big blow-up baseball bat and Isaac just laughing non-stop.
Later on the week I got this sweet photo of Isaac and Egan. I also took a bunch of photos of Indigo with various class art projects she had been making through the year. Since Passover was about to start it seemed appropriate to have a photo of her with the Seder plate she made. I also photographed her with her rocket and Nasa helmet she made when they learned about Space and also of her with her Shabbat box that she made and a photo of the Shabbat box contents - she was very proud of her art work.
On the Saturday night we had our friends Robyne and Stuart over with their children Callie, Stirling and Islay. The kids had a great time playing together and of course, Isaac loved Stuart. Repeat after me "Isaac loves men".
On Sunday we went to the super fun birthday party of Lillian and Emma who were turning four. It was held at Bounce U. Indigo was quite keen to go on the some of the jumping castles which is new this year - before she has not wanted to go on those types of things especially when other kids are on them. Isaac was very uncertain about the whole thing and wanted to be held or to hold our hands the whole time. However, he did have fun when Daddy took him through the obstacle course - and he took Indigo the first time she went as well - what a work out for Daddy. After that, Indigo and little Islay kept tearing through the obstacle course together. As you can see, the food and cake were very well received, and Isaac loved his little book he received as a party favor. You have to love Indigo holding poor Isaac's face to have him look at the camera! What a fun week and weekend.

Love the shot of Indigo walking her dog. It looks so sweet! Oh those bounce houses ~ after taking our kids to a party there last fall, I sent Ian to the two parties Caleb was invited to. It is one heck of a workout! I like the picture of Indigo and Isaac holding out their arms, looks like Indigo "staged" the position.
ReplyDeleteThe pics are great, but I LOVE the video. His laughter is contagious!
